1955 chevrolet cameo pickup hotrod pictures,..This classic 55 Cameo came as a new design for Chevrolet. It was decided that the standard truck that was used as a farm vehicle should have more of a car-like town cruiser, thus, Task Force trucks were born. The new Task Force trucks were the first to offer Chevrolet's new V8 the 265. This particular Cameo seems to have spent most of its life in the south. The paint looks great with straight body lines, beautiful bright work, restored exterior grille and front bumper, completely new weather strip. Perfect orig. fiberglass .
The engine compartment is nicely detailed. 383-V8 that runs smooth. The struck originally came with a 265 V8 but has been updated to a 1961 283 engine several years ago, most likely before the truck was restored. Orig. Harrison radiator dated 1955, correct generator.
